The championship will be held under the banner of the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council as part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (Drug-Free India Campaign). The objective is to spread awareness against drug abuse and encourage youth to adopt sports as a positive alternative to drugs, according to a handout issued by the Association here today.
All participating judokas have been instructed to report along with their respective coaches, carrying their Aadhaar cards and duly filled entry forms.
Srinagar District Volleyball Championship from November 4
Sports Affiliated News | Srinagar, October 31: The Volleyball Association of Srinagar will organise the two-day 38th Srinagar District Volleyball Championship from November 4 at Gindun Sports Ground, Srinagar.
The championship is being organised under the banner of the Volleyball Association of Jammu and Kashmir and sponsored by the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.
Clubs and educational institutions interested in participating have been invited to submit their entries on or before November 2.
The two-day event is part of the annual calendar of activities financially supported by the Sports Council.
